On the afternoon of August 18, under the guidance of Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, the 2023 Zhuhai Science and Technology Industry Ecological Conference hosted by Zhuhai Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation, Zhuhai Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, along with Zhuhai Investment Promotion Bureau was held at Zhuhai Holiday Resort Hotel.

Featuring the theme of "Focusing on Scientific and Technological Innovation, Activating the Industrial Forest", a number of strategic cooperation framework agreements between governments, banks and enterprises, were signed on the conference. Meanwhile, the conference released science and technology industry resources such as 5.0 industrial new space, displayed Zhuhai's favorable business environment in multiple fields, and created a strong atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation throughout the society, attracting more than 200 units from Zhuhai and Macao including scientific research institutions, financial institutions, newly introduced enterprises, and local key enterprises. 

Up to now, Zhuhai has 2,308 high-tech enterprises, 713 SRDI enterprises, and 48 domestic and foreign listed enterprises. In recent years, Zhuhai has witnessed significant progress in municipal construction and public facilities: the high-speed railway can reach 64 cities in China, and Zhuhai Airport can reach nearly 90 destinations across the country. The average time for starting up enterprises takes only 0.5 days; and the government will grant a one-time subsidy of 400,000 RMB to high-tech enterprises that have passed the certification for the first time. High-level talents can enjoy up to 1 million RMB talent rewards and up to 2 million RMB of housing subsidies. The new economic and trade channel of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will enable one-day delivery in Hong Kong and Macao and 7-day delivery worldwide....

The conference released resources on innovation platforms such as the new space of 5.0 industry, the "Four Fast" full-chain intellectual property services, and the Guangdong Laboratory of Southern Marine Science and Engineering (Zhuhai), demonstrating the "hard support" and "soft power" of Zhuhai's scientific and technological innovation, and the vitality of high-quality development. 

Guangdong Titans Intelligent Power Co., Ltd attended the conference and the chairman, Zou Jianjun, was interviewed at the event: “In just over a year, the company has developed rapidly, the company's R & D team has increased from a dozen to more than 50, and the output value has also 'doubled' to more than 200 million.” 

Titans Intelligent Power is a high-tech enterprise focusing on providing overall new energy solutions and background data services for mobile robots and industrial vehicles, which was settled in Zhuhai High-tech Zone in April 2022. Zou Jianjun told reporters, “Zhuhai's business environment is very conducive to the growth of innovative enterprises, particularly its policies to introduce talents and related living facilities, which provide great help for enterprises to attract and retain talents.” 

San Jinghui, deputy director of the Zhuhai Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation, said that in the following step, Zhuhai will continue to adhere to the policy of "Manufacturing takes the lead and industry first", devote efforts to introduce more targeted and high-value policies and measures, support scientific and technological innovation as always, highlight the main position of enterprise scientific and technological innovation, continuously stimulate the vitality of high-quality development, and provide strong support for high-quality development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
