A new batch of hi-tech enterprises in Zhuhai had signed the contracts with administrative authorities to settle in Zhuhai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone on the morning of August 30, 2023.

Members from the Working Committee of Party, the Administrative Committee of Zhuhai Hi-Tech Zone, Municipal Cyberspace Administration, Zhuhai Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation, as well as representatives from Zhuhai Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Culture, Broadcast and Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Zhuhai, Zhuhai SASAC and Foreign Investment Office were present. Around 16 key projects were launched in Hi-Tech Zone this August, covering industries in intelligent manufacturing, new energy, medical equipment, semiconductor and integrated circuits, with a total investment amount close to 2 billion RMB and an estimated output value over 4.1 billion RMB. Upon operation, they will strive to make contribution for the region’s high-quality development, boost the integration of upstream and downstream industries, promote the construction of major industrial clusters in Zhuhai Hi-Tech Zone.

Adhering to the principle of “industry first, high quality development” and making its way towards industrial technology innovation, Guangdong Titans Intelligent was also invited to attend the signing ceremony. The enterprise service center of Hi-Tech Zone sent "enterprise service card" to the representatives of each contracted enterprise, promising that each of them will be supported by special personnel to enjoy all-round, one-stop accurate service. In addition, the Hi-Tech Zone will provide the enterprises with 24/7 high-quality service and create an excellent environment in which they can develop.

In recent years, the Tangjiawan Town, where the Hi-tech Zone is located, has achieved a GDP growth of 4.5 percent in 2022, topping citywide rankings in terms of growth rate. The economic performance of the introduced projects is also remarkable. According to news media, total revenue of the Hi-tech Zone’s industrial parks exceeded 385 billion RMB in 2022, up 6.6 percent year-on-year, ranking 17th among 169 national hi-tech zones in terms of comprehensive strength.

In the future, Zhuhai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone will further fire up the new engine, create new advantages, set up new high ground and release new impetus for industrial development.
